Thank you for this. I understand how giving someone the right environment allows them to thrive, but only to a certain extent. I see my daughter thriving compared to where she was, creating amazing artwork, but struggles to be able to walk the dog (she wants to do it but it's a demand). She is so very depressed, but she feels stuck. I guess what I am saying is that environment can allow someone to thrive, but they still struggle with trauma and living in the world we are in.
And what do we do when we cannot change the environment. Someone is breaking through continual burnout, but there is no one to step in to help, no one to help change the environment. I guess it feels like a lovely goal, but we feel so far from there. Real life steps in and we end up stuck.
